Last updated February 4, 2021You can join a StarLeaf meeting from your web browser. This is sometimes known as WebRTC ( web real time communication). In this topic:
About WebRTC
Web real time communication (WebRTC) with StarLeaf is only supported on desktop, and from the following browsers:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Microsoft Edge
StarLeaf only supports the latest browser versions and does not support legacy versions. Safari is not supported.
The following StarLeaf meeting features are not supported in browsers:
- In-meeting chat
- Raise hand in Spotlight meetings
- Participant management

Joining a meeting
To join a StarLeaf meeting from a web browser:
- Open your StarLeaf invite (this can be found either in your email or on a StarLeaf scheduled calendar event).
- Click More ways to join your meeting. Your default browser opens.
- Select Web browser.
- Allow your browser to access your camera and microphone.
- Enter your name.
- Click Join meeting.
