Safety and Compliance: Touch 2045
Read the installation instructions provided with the StarLeaf room system to which you will connect the StarLeaf Touch 2045, and the information on this page, before you connect the Touch 2045 to its power source. All StarLeaf documentation is available in this Knowledge Center.
Do not block any of the ventilation openings of the Touch 2045.
Avoid installing the touchscreen near a heat source such as a radiator and avoid placing it in direct sunlight.
Do not remove the cover of the touchscreen. There are no user-serviceable parts. If you open the Touch or remove its cover you may expose yourself to dangerous voltages or other hazards, and you will invalidate the warranty.
The Touch 2045 is powered using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) supplied by a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) unit. The Touch must be connected to a PSE unit approved by StarLeaf, such as a StarLeaf room system.
The Touch 2045 must only be used indoors and within the following environmental conditions:

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference where the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of the equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference, in which case the user will be required to correct the interference at his own expense.
