These release notes provide you with information about the latest upgrade to the StarLeaf Cloud, Portal, and endpoints. This is a maintenance release and is effective from May 2016.
These release notes also document the latest version of the StarLeaf Microsoft Outlook Add-in for Windows.
All upgrades take place outside of normal office hours for all regions. Endpoints automatically restart and reconnect to the Cloud after the upgrade.
StarLeaf operates a system of rolling upgrades across our data centers, which are distributed globally. New features may be enabled separately. These release notes also document the bug fixes in 3.2 of StarLeaf Cloud.
Bug fixes effective in StarLeaf Cloud 3.2
|9259||In the previous release, DTMF tones were not passed on to participants in ad hoc conferences. Cloud 3.2 fixes this issue.|
|9299||In the previous release, for users or room systems configured to use Simplified Chinese, dates were incorrectly displayed. Cloud 3.2 fixes this issue.|
Bug fixes effective in StarLeaf Microsoft Outlook Add-in v1.1.0b3
|8023||You will no longer see an exception if you try to schedule a meeting on a shared calendar when you do not have permission to do so.|
|8652||The add-in now provides more feedback to indicate to a user when it is communicating with the StarLeaf Cloud. For example, when creating, updating, or deleting conferences.|
|8658||In the event of issues with the add-in, you can now upload a diagnostic log to StarLeaf Support at the click of one button. This is found on the”Schedule Meeting” button on the ribbon.|
|8954||In the previous release, Outlook would stop working if the ‘New video meeting’ window was left open for a few hours. This issue is fixed in StarLeaf Microsoft Outlook Add-in v1.1.0b3.|
|9006||The StarLeaf Microsoft Outlook Add-in for Windows now supports the use of a proxy for Internet access. The add-in prompts a user to enter credentials on the first connection.|
|9352||You can now create more than one meeting at a time using the “Schedule Meeting” button on the ribbon; it can open multiple create-meeting windows.|
|9353||The StarLeaf Leaf icon is now a shortcut button to schedule a new video meeting.|
|9357||You can now choose to create a new video meeting from the right-click menu in the calendar view.|
