These release notes provide you with information about the latest upgrade to the StarLeaf Cloud, Portal, and endpoints. This is a feature release and is effective from February 2016.
All upgrades take place outside of normal office hours for all regions. Endpoints automatically restart and reconnect to the cloud after the upgrade.
StarLeaf operates a system of rolling upgrades across our data centers, which are distributed globally. New features may be enabled separately. These release notes also document the bug fixes in 2.4.0 of StarLeaf Cloud.
New features in StarLeaf Cloud 2.4.0
The directory, as viewed from StarLeaf endpoints and Breeze has been improved with the addition of green dialing buttons.
|Scheduling add-in for Microsoft Outlook||
A add-in for Microsoft Outlook is now available. This add-in allows all Outlook users in an organization to schedule video meetings directly from their Outlook client.
Any user can install the add-in on their own Windows computer.
On first use, a user logs in using their Breeze username (email address) and password.
The user can then schedule the video meeting:

Bug fixes effective in StarLeaf Cloud 2.4.0
|4137||In previous releases, simultaneous calls on FaceTime and iPad Breeze caused the audio to fail in the Breeze call. Cloud 2.4.0 fixes this issue.|
In the previous version of iPad Breeze, when using some Bluetooth headsets, audio did not behave as expected. Cloud 2.4.0 fixes this issue.
|7147||In the previous version, there was no incoming call notification on Windows 10. Cloud 2.4.0 fixes this issue.|
|7213||In the previous version, under certain circumstances, adding or removing a microphone from the Windows computer could cause a call to fail. Cloud 2.4.0 fixes this issue.|
|7082||The caller name now appears in an incoming call notification.|
|7084||When you choose to share your screen during a video call, Linux Breeze now allows you to select a monitor to share.|
|7174||In the previous version of Linux Breeze, under certain circumstances, audio could fail during screen sharing. Cloud 2.4.0 fixes this issue.|
|General endpoint fixes|
|6381||In previous versions, StarLeaf endpoints did not receive video from Cisco SX10s running version 7.3. Cloud 2.4.0 fixes this issue.|
|8012||In previous releases, when adding an Acano MCU to an ad hoc conference over SIP, video from the Acano was not displayed by the StarLeaf endpoints. Cloud 2.4.0 fixes this issue.|
|8048||In previous versions, under certain circumstances during a scheduled conference, if the conference organizer muted certain participants, video would no longer be received and the message ‘No incoming video’ was displayed. Cloud 2.4.0 fixes this issue.|
|8155||There are improved feedback messages when restarting a GT Mini 3330.|
|8366||In previous versions, if conference owners included themselves in the list of attendees, the conference owner received too many emails about the conference. Cloud 2.4.0 fixes this issue.|
|8432||In previous versions, there was a problem with scheduling repeat conferences on the last day of the month. Cloud 2.4.0 fixes this issue.|
