Introduction
These release notes provide you with information about the latest upgrade to StarLeaf.
All upgrades take place outside of normal office hours for all regions. Endpoints automatically restart and reconnect to StarLeaf after the upgrade.
StarLeaf operates a system of rolling upgrades across our data centers, which are distributed globally. New features may be enabled separately.
New features
Raise hand in meetings
App version 5.3 required
In all meetings, not just Spotlight meetings, you can use the Raise hand button in the in-call toolbar. Raise your hand if you want to say something in the meeting or to get the attention of the organizer. You can lower your hand at any time.
Improved meeting experience between organizations
Portal 7.0 required
People using StarLeaf in different organizations who join your meeting now have an enhanced meeting experience with access to the following features:
- In-meeting chat
- Raise and lower own hand
- Layout options
- Participant list visibility
These features will only be available to all participants when each organization in the meeting has been upgraded to Portal 7.0.
Dark mode support for macOS
App version 5.3 required
If you have dark mode enabled on your macOS device, StarLeaf automatically changes its main user interface colors to shades of black and gray.
Improvements to self-service billing
With the new amendments functionality, billing admins can adjust the number of licenses in their StarLeaf organization account.
Any license additions will take place immediately and will be billed pro-rata. Any license reductions or cancellations will take effect at the start of your next billing period.
