Connect Pronto Hub 20 to power, network, and the room screen

Pronto Hub 20 can connect to one screen through HDMI. To do this:

  1. Plug the AC power adapter into a power source in the room.
  2. Connect the AC power connector to the power port on the back of the Hub 20.
  3. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to an Ethernet source in the room.
  4. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the back of the Hub 20.
  5. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the TV screen in the room.
  6. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the back of the Hub 20.

Connect Pronto 4100 to Hub 20

Pronto 4100 comes with two cables fitted as shown below. One with a single USB-A connector, and the other with both a USB-C connector and a USB-A connector.

Connect the Pronto 4100 cable end with the single USB-A connector to a USB port on the front of Hub 20.

Connect to the Cloud

To connect the Hub 20 to the StarLeaf Cloud, you must (a) provision the Hub 20 through the Portal which generates a QuickConnect code and (b) enter this code in the room using a USB keyboard that connects to the Hub 20.

(a) Provision Pronto Hub 20 through the Portal

Either you or your reseller can register the Pronto Hub 20 using the StarLeaf Portal. To do this:

  1. In the StarLeaf Portal, go to Room systems > Add room system. You can see the Add room system as shown below.
  2. In the Name field, type a for the Hub 20.
  3. In Hardware endpoint > Device selection, under Type select Pronto Hub 20.
  4. Select Apply. This causes the Portal to generate the QuickConnect code. Take note of this code.

(b) Enter the QuickConnect code

The first time Pronto Hub 20 starts up it displays the screen shown below. To enter your StarLeaf QuickConnect code:

  1. Connect the USB keyboard to the Hub 20.
  2. Use the keyboard to type the QuickConnect code.
  3. The Hub 20 verifies the code and the room screen displays a Ready to Use message when connection is successful.

  4. Disconnect the USB keyboard. You no longer require this.
