The room screen briefly shows an image of a leaf and then the message Enter your QuickConnect code; this is the first step required for connecting Pronto 210 to the Cloud through the StarLeaf Portal. To complete these steps, follow the instructions below.

Connect to the Cloud

To connect Pronto 210 to the StarLeaf Cloud, you must (a) provision Hub 20 through the Portal which generates a QuickConnect code and (b) enter this code in the room system using a USB keyboard that connects to Hub 20.

(a) Provision Pronto Hub 20 through the Portal

Either you or your reseller can register Pronto Hub 20 using the StarLeaf Portal. To do this:

  1. In the StarLeaf Portal, go to Room systems > Add room system. You can see the Add room system as shown below.
  2. In the Name field, type a name for Hub 20.
  3. In Hardware endpoint > Device selection, under Type select Pronto Hub 20.
  4. Select Apply. This causes the Portal to generate the QuickConnect code. Take note of this code.

(b) Enter the QuickConnect code

The first time Pronto Hub 20 starts up it displays the screen shown below. To enter your StarLeaf QuickConnect code:

  1. Connect the USB keyboard to Hub 20.
  2. Use the keyboard to type the QuickConnect code.
  3. The room screen says Initializing while Hub 20 verifies the code. This may take a minute.

The room screen displays a standby image of a leaf when setup is successful, complete, and Pronto is ready to use.

  4. Disconnect the USB keyboard. You no longer require this.
