View the installation instructions on the installation sheet that accompanies the StarLeaf Group Telepresence 3351 (GT 3351) and the information on this page, before you connect the GT 3351 to its power source.
Do not block any of the ventilation openings of the Group Telepresence 3351.
The Group Telepresence 3351 uses side-to-side cooling fans. Allow an adequate space on the sides of the unit to promote a good air flow for cooling of the Group Telepresence 3351. Do not block the fan inlet or outlet. Ensure that the fan intake is not placed inline with the outlet from any other fan or convection cooled device.
Read the rack-mounting instructions carefully before you rack mount the Group Telepresence 3351. Ensure that the rack will remain stable.
Do not remove the cover of the Group Telepresence 3351. There are no user-serviceable parts. If you open the Group Telepresence 3351 or remove its cover you may expose yourself to dangerous voltages or other hazards, and you will invalidate the warranty.
The GT 3351 must be connected to the AC/DC adaptor approved by StarLeaf (StarLeaf part number 712-00040). The plug that connects AC power to the GT 3351 is the main disconnect device for the GT 3351 and must always be easily accessible.
Ensure that the AC supply to the AC/DC adaptor incorporates over current protection rated by a maximum of 16A (20A for North America).
Caution: Over-current devices must meet applicable national and local electrical safety codes and be approved for the intended application.
The table below shows the power ratings of the GT 3351 when it is powered by the AC/DC adaptor:
